Sound of Stereo - Zipper EP (Remixes)

Whilst still on the remix package vibe Sound Of Stereo released a remix package of their Zipper EP yesterday with remixes from Beataucue, LA Riots and Mikix The Cat. Whilst I thought the remixes on the Zombie Nation package required a couple of listens for them to grow on you, these are instant hits and are certain to set the dance floor alight. Love the artwork for the EP too. Again no download this time but available to buy everywhere.

Tracklisting:

Sound Of Stereo - Zipper (LA Riots Remix)
Sound Of Stereo - Button (Beataucue Remix)
Sound Of Stereo - Velcro (Mikix The Cat Remix)

Zombie Nation - Zombielicious Remixes Pt. 2

New remix package of Zombie Nations hit album Zombielicious. The first remix package was a massive success and had artists like Proxy, Shadow Dancer and Arveene & Misk take on the role of remixing different tracks from the album. The second remix package see's Harvard Bass, Jori Hulkkonen, Rebolledo and Franz & Shape attempting to spruce things up a little. My personal opinion on them is that on first listen they may seem a bit boring but after a couple of listens they have soon started to grow on me with the Franz & Shape one being my personal favourite. Unfortunately I cant give the remix package away but you can find them available to buy online at Beatport, Juno, Itunes etc.

Tracklisting:

Zombie Nation - Seas Of Grease (Harvard Bass Remix)
Zombie Nation - Mas De Todo (Jori Hulkkonen Remix)
Zombie Nation - Supercaked 53 (Franz & Shape Remix)
Zombie Nation - Mas De Todo (Rebolledo Remix)

dangerDAN

Dont you love it when a producer finds their "sound". Hailing from Chorley dangerDan started out by remixing a series of artists such as Sebastien Tellier, Blondie and Little Boots with great results although he himself classed them only as being "fun" and a "good way of experimenting and learning production". After a brief absence he's back with some brand new original material that leans to a more deep house style with a few surprises in store.

White Light 18 - Neoteric

Brand new mix from Neoteric for the White Light instalment. After creating a huge buzz with his Mystery mix for Discobelle this mix is an absolute must. This is what the man himself had to say:

"Its been amazing to see this series blossom into what is has become! My last White light mix (Vol 5) was one of my favourite mixes that I've ever done, but I wanted to go deeper on this one to really catch the 'Night Driving / Zone Out' vibe. This one is much less vocal, way more mind trip, and features some very strong productions from acts who are really pushing this sound. This is pretty heady, moody stuff, and the vocals that were picked resonate strongly with emotion. I hope this strikes a nerve and is the cosmic soundtrack along your ways. Look towards the light!"

Ghosts Of Venice- I Learned From The Best EP

Hailing from Leeds, Ghosts of Venice, also known as one half of Youth Attack, is slowly becoming one of the UK's finest filter disco house producers, bringing his own approach to the genre. Having already conquered clubs with his own club night and label Kill The Rhythm and had huge success under the Youth Attack moniker its nice to see a producer handle a completely new genre so well. You definitely know your dealing with a talented producer. He describes his new E.P as a tribute to 80's diva Whitney Houston with a nod to house legends "Le Knight Club". Two original tracks, 3 remixes and a great video has seen great feedback from artists such as Grum, The Phantom's Revenge, Laberge and even Radio 1.

Also I forgot to mention the E.P is free ;)

Tracklisting:
1. I Learned From The Best (Original Mix)
2. Her (Original Mix)
3. I Learned From The Best (Jo Kira Remix)
4. I Learned From The Best (Bobby Analog Remix)

Clouds

Ok, new producer that I was lucky to come across the other day via the lovely people over at the Erol Alkan Forum. If I'm totally honest all I know about this artist is that he hails from Scotland and he's called Clouds. We'll let the music just do all the talking shall we but mark my word I think this guy is going to blow up very soon thanks to some very clean cut productions and huge electro basslines. Check him out at his myspace HERE

They recently teamed up with Mad Decent (Diplo's Label) to release a completely free album. Hidden Cat - Shooting Stars (Bag Raiders Cover)

Been wanting to post this for a while. Hidden Cat is slowly making a name for himself and 2010 is set to be very big for the young man from North Carolina. Came across him on the Erol Alkan Forum and if its one thing I enjoy the most its seeing an artist slowly make it. He's remixed a host of tracks from artists such as Kym Brown, Andy Caldwell, Portishead and Kid Cola but its his new downtempo cover of Shooting Stars by the Bag Raiders that has really caught my eye. Noob - Riding on a Rainbow

Riding on a rainbow from Charlotte L'Harmeroult on Vimeo.

Noob takes an IDM approach with his new track. Video was made by French artist Charlotte L'Harmeroult which is also pretty good.
