With Valentines tommorow I thought I'd treat you to a couple of mixtapes which some artists have recently conjured up, swaying from their usual style and digging deep into those crates to bring a whole load of smooth and midnight loving jams to get you and your other half into that mood. If your single this Valentines, like myself these are some chilled out, feel good sets that will hopefully make your Valentines day a little bit more exciting.
First up is a mix from Breakbot who is the newest addition to Busy P's Ed Banger Records, famous for signings such as Justice, DJ Mehdi, SebastiAn and Feadz to name a few. His debut EP "Baby I'm Yours" is a soothing mix of electro and 80's funk with some catchy, indulgent lyrics from Irfane from Outlines. Jesus of the dance world Siruismo and La Funk Mob adop their remix gloves for some more funky basslines.
This leads us nicely on to this special mixtape he's done for Dazed. Some real charmers in this.
